REI StoreWe drove up to Bend today to the Old Mill shopping Center to check out the Deschutes River Run. Lots of stuff going on but the best part was watching all the dogs in their lifejackets swimming alongside their people on rafts. You know those Labs and Retriever's were in heaven! They have a nice REI (Recreational Equipment Inc. for those of you who are not from the Northwest) store where I bought a pair of shoes. I wish there was an REI in Palm Springs...I'd work there again in a minute..probably the most fun job I ever had. The three smokestacks above the store (shown in the picture) are from the old mill that was located here in the 1920's.
Temps in the 80's again today.
