Back to Wenatchee

After saying goodbye to Cassidy the curious cat,we packed up and left Newport. He made one more attempt to sneak into the 5th wheel while we were in and out doing the last minute packing.  Last night Jack had to scramble outside in a thunderstorm to put our chairs under cover before the rain drenched them.

We're spending one night at the Wenatchee County RV Park.  We stayed here a few weeks ago and it is a clean park with wide level spaces. The only real drawback is it's proximity to Highway 2 and road noise. The cherry picking season is in full swing. There is a migrant worker tent camp set up just outside the boundary of the park. Hopefully they are too tired from picking cherries all day to create any mischief tonight. The camp looks clean and well managed so I doubt we'll have any problems.

We leave in the morning for LaConnor. I don't think they have internet connections at the park we are staying in so we'll have to go into LaConnor and find a hot spot.
Current weather is sunny, breezy and temps around 75.
