Today was one of those days where you ask yourself "Where did the day go?" It was hot...probably close to 90...but it's a dry heat... lol...
We had breakfast in the club house ... French Toast, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Floated around the pool for about an hour then unfurled the awning and set up our chairs to watch the activity on the river. Our new rule..Happy Hour starts an hour early on Sunday.
There are several groups camped here that attended the Tom Petty concert at The Gorge downriver last night. Last night was a beautiful evening. Jack took a scooter ride to "downtown" Crescent Bar, which consists of one bar, a campground and two stores, and said most of the tenters have left and the boatlaunch is almost empty. The 206'ers and 425'ers have gone home.. ( Or another favorite expression used by the locals here is "coasties" when refering to people from the westside)
We leave here on Tuesday and head north of Spokane about 25 miles to an RV spot in Newport WA on the Pend Oreille (pronounced pon der ray) River.
