Icicle River..Leavenworth
Metal works fountainRained all night but we woke up to sun. We made a scouting trip to the Leavenworth/Lake Wenatchee area to see if there were any RV parks we'd be interested in for future use. One park had beautiful spots along the river and it was a nice park but the lady in the office said we would'nt be able to get our 5th wheel into any of them. Jack measured them off and did not agree but we didn't argue with her and left. We drove partway up the Icicle River Road and there is still snow on the mountain tops.
There is a shop in Leavenworth called Metal Works where I took the picture of the fish fountain. They have incredible fountains and metal sculptures. Ate lunch at Krystals where Jack ran in to another retired Seattle Firefighter.
The skies are sunny at the moment but there are some black clouds heading this way and another threat of rain and thunderstorms..
